David DeWitt is the owner/head grower of Dave’s Greens a 5-acre farm with over 38,000sq ft. of greenhouses located in Truro MA. David has been farming on Cape Cod since 1987. He studied soil and plant science at College of The Redwoods and Humboldt State University in Northern California. David attends 2 farmers markets a week, wholesales, and has a CSA program. David is one of the founding members of Sustainable Cape a non-profit. Sustainable Cape hosts the Truro Ag Fair and facilitates many local food and health objectives. David was the Chair of the Truro Agricultural Commission where he worked for 5 years. He has lectured extensively on organic farming and related topics for over 30 years. David has experience utilizing Korean Natural Farming and Bio-Dynamic growing methods as well as traditional Organic practices.
